Dear EL members, dear friends,
As I am writing this, we are only a few weeks away from our tenth EL Congress in Antwerp from 26 to 29 May! We are gathering this year around a special theme, the Success of Chance, that is so close to all our operations and our identities as lottery companies. I look forward to what I have no doubt will be exceptional discussions and presentations. Our host, the Belgian national lottery, together with our Level 1 Partners Intralot, Scientific Games and IGT, our Level 2 Partner Kambi and the EL team has been working hard to make this Congress in a very special location – next to the Antwerp Zoo – a great success. These days together will conclude with a General Assembly where the Executive Committee will present its activities and we will have the opportunity to discuss the governance of our association.
For our current Executive Committee, a term comes to an end. We have worked hard these two years to consolidate and implement our new EL Strategy that builds on the lottery values society/sustainability, integrity and responsibility. You will see that many of us, including myself, are standing for re-election and hope that you will give us your trust to defend our joint interests for a further two years.
I look forward to seeing you in Antwerp.
