EL elects new Executive Committee & adopts Antwerp Resolution

During EL's 2019 General Assembly at the end of the 10th EL Congress in Antwerp, members elected its new Executive Committee and reappointed Hansjörg Höltkemeier as EL President for the period 2019-2021.

Hansjörg Höltkemeier re-elected as EL President for the period 2019-2021

Re-elected EL President Hansjörg Höltkemeier (right) said, ‘‘We have had three fantastic days at the special 10th edition of the European Lotteries Congress, with lots of exchanges, networking and new ideas. I am personally very happy to be re-elected after four successful years, and I look forward to continuing my work with the association, which serves for the benefit of society’’.

The newly elected members of the EL Executive Committee are (in alphabetical order):

During the EL General Assembly, members adopted the Antwerp Resolution (EN DEESFR) on advertisement for games of chance, calling for a risk-based approach towards gambling advertisement, to safeguard the channelling role and the benefits of their games for society.

Durante la Asamblea General 2019 de EL, los miembros de EL eligieron su nuevo Comité ejecutivo y volvieron a designar a Hansjörg Höltkemeier presidente de EL para el período 2019-2021.

Los miembros de EL también adoptaron la Resolución de Amberes, que pide un planteamiento basado en el riesgo para la publicidad de las apuestas, para proteger la función de canalización y los beneficios de sus juegos para la sociedad.

Während der EL-Generalversammlung 2019 wählten die EL-Mitglieder ihren neuen Exekutivausschuss und ernannten Hansjörg Höltkemeier erneut zum EL-Präsidenten für den Zeitraum 2019 bis 2021.

Die EL-Mitglieder verabschiedeten auch die Antwerpener Resolution, in der ein risikobasierter Ansatz für die Glücksspielwerbung gefordert wird, um die kanalisierende Rolle und die Vorteile ihrer Spiele für die Gesellschaft zu gewährleisten.
